Trevim Epic Climb
Overview
Starting at Lousã, this Epic Climb connects the village to Alto do Trevim. With more than 20 km long, the route enter deep into the Lousã Mountain and its lush vegetation.
Alto de Trevim, at 1200 meters high, is a special place for all the inhabitants of the Lousã Mountain. On good visibility days, it is possible to observe places as far away as the Estrela Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, the Gardunha Mountain and Marvão, already in Alentejo.
The Lousã - Trevim Epic Climb starts near the Carlos Reis Park, in Lousã, following the numerous curves, turning left and right on the N236, for more than 20 km. Along almost all its extension, this climb is framed by a luxuriant vegetation and several hidden streams, which run at the bottom of closed valleys. This is one of the classic climbs of the Central Region.
